Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto - San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan

France?,  Sa San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan lang yan. :D

It was a rainy saturday and my left foot is hurting a lot since last week and unexpectedly last thurday Thrasher of Adventures of Manong Unyol  invited me to attend and witness the Singkaban festival of Malolos, Bulacan together with my fellow travel bloggers Billy of GalaeroEscapeTravels and Librero of San Josenyong Gala.

Of course I immediately said yes, being bitten by a travel bug its very, VERY hard to resist the temptation to explore new places, experience new culture, meet new friends and believe me you can not describe the feeling.

Before heading out to Malolos. Librero, a native of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan tour us around the area  (Thanks po). From our meeting place ( Jolibee-Tungko) we hopped aboard the jeep going to Muzon it will pass by the Grotto. (Fare: 8 pesos).

There's no entrance fee but it's a private property and open to the public, it is said the owner of the place (a devout catholic) was cured from a serious illness after she visited the Our Lady of Lourdes in Lourdes, France. So the owner decided  to make a replica in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Pakiramdam ko talaga nasa france ako.
The Church is just one part of it, what really attracted the people to this place is the replica of the rock cave  at Massabaille. where Saint Bernadette Soubirous claimed to have seen the Blessed Virgin Mary in February  11, 1858. (Thanks Wikipedia)

The walking sticks and crutches
Can you see something?, the original owners of what you see above are former PWD ( Person With disablity) according to them the Our lady of  Lourdes healed their illness so as a sign to prove that the miracle is true they left some evidence.

Near the replica of the rock cave, there's a spring that claimed to be miraculous, well the care takers of the area renovated the spring and they put up a line of faucets so that the devotees won't have a hard time refilling their bottles.

Feeling the pain on my left foot I collected a handful of the so called "Miracle water wiped/sprinkled my feet with it and prayed to the Our Lady of lourdes to make the pain on my left foot minimal to my surprise it disappeared before we arrive in Malolos. I guess " Miracles" are real or what my blogger friend said "Nasa paniniwala yan brod... :) And your strong faith manifested...".
