In Celebration of International Car-Free Day the Intramuros Administration, VivaManila, The Manila Collectible and Manila Bulletin decided to create an event called The " Intramuros Pasyal Sunday", General Luna Street near San. Agustin Church is closed for all types of vehicles during the day starting 1pm up to 9pm.

Kids playing around the streets without the danger of getting hit by a car, the street bustling with activities specially the market section, no cars blowing their horns, People interacting with each other including foreigners.

You can even look up at the sky peacefully, the absence of all types of vehicles somehow reminds me of
Calle Crisologo of Vigan, Ilocos Sur I can only hope that they make it permanent. So to sum it all up its a fine sunday afternoon at Intramuros.
